Can first GEN 96-04 Tacoma shocks be fitted on second and third GEN 05+ Tacoma’s?

No, the 96-04 Tacoma‘s are very different than the 2005 and newer. Second and third GEN Tacoma’s will require an entirely new coil over and rear shock part number.
